Smelt ok but tasted a little harsh to me. Burnt ok but needed to re-light 4 times. Smoked for 45 mins but wouldn't buy another.

H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I found the H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar an absolute delight. It's deminutive size led me to believe it's flavour would be less than it's H.Upmann peers (a brand that is quickly becoming my favourite). It smoked well, and tasted fantastic, all the way down to the end. I think the other reviews capture it's flavour well. Definately a recommended smoke.

Really enjoyed this smoke, I bought it on the recommendation of a member of staff and it really is a very good quality cigar. Smooth and creamy flavours, the burn was consistent and balanced and the ash held on firmly. Slightly smaller than the usual robusto, I bought this from the Chester shop, the only dissapointing element is that its £4 cheaper online so one always has to ask for the cheaper price if at the shop. At the web price its certainlly a real bargain.

Yet another great smoke from H.Upmann, I have had a few now and they have been consistent to say the least. This was probably my favourite, with losts of smoke and a dramaticly tasty finish. A great excuse to sit outside on a mild autumn evening and listen to the owls hunting.

The value for money in regards to the quality in construction, even burn, a little tight on the draw but with a beautifully light to medium flavour really is quite exquisite.
Tried my first one from this box, but will leave the rest for some time in my humidor as am sure this will go from being a good 30-45 minute smoke to spectacular.

Where can I start about this cigar?
I could wax lyrical about the coffee and cream taste and the perfect fill and the delightful colour of the wrapper etc etc but it is much easier to say that since reading that this new ring gauge stick was to be added to the HDM range, I grew excited. I like the larger gauge and love HDMs, so add them together and I was champing at the bit.
When C.Gars announced that they now had them in stock I ordered on the first day. I will just say that this cigar has gone straight to the top of my personal hit-list. Magnificent, with subtle changes right down to the final 1/5th.
Highly, seriously recommended
