Henri Wintermans Half Corona - Pack of 5 cigars
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
I recently enjoyed a Henri Wintermans Half Corona, and it really surprised me with how light and smooth it was. From the first puff, it had that easygoing draw that makes a cigar instantly relaxing. The burn was even all the way through, producing a soft smoke with a pleasant aroma — nothing harsh or overwhelming. The flavor was mild, with gentle hints of wood and a touch of sweetness that lingered nicely on the palate. It’s definitely not a cigar that tries to impress with strength or complexity, but that’s exactly what makes it enjoyable. It’s the kind of stick you can light up any time of day without having to commit to a full, heavy smoke. I’d say the Half Corona is perfect as an everyday cigar — something to enjoy with a coffee in the morning or after a long day when you just want to unwind. It’s consistent, affordable, and always delivers a smooth, relaxing experience. Overall, the Henri Wintermans Half Corona is a simple pleasure — mild, well-made, and easy to appreciate. If you’re after a cigar that doesn’t demand attention but always satisfies, this one fits the bil

Honest Shakespeare Cigar Lighter - Black & Red (HON230)
Date Added: Tuesday 14 October, 2025
Quad jet flame so incredibly powerful, perhaps a touch overkill for anything but the heaviest ring gauges, as expected it's completely wind resistant. Gets a touch hot with constant use; however, it's not untouchable and it never gets so hot it stops working. Unsurprisingly it's also really quite heavy, not overly but you know it's in your pocket; however, you could ditch your cutter if you use the built in punch, I haven't, but it seems pretty sharp. The built in cigar rest in the lid is surprisingly useful and construction whilst not top notch seems decent enough.

H. Upmann Connoisseur No. 1 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 11 October, 2025
This was my first H. Upmann, so I was excited to try it. A smooth smoke with very woody and savoury notes throughout. It paired perfectly with a glass of Ron Abuelo 12 años. It's worth noting, it had a slightly tight draw and took some puffing to keep it going, but overall a very enjoyable smoke.

H. Upmann Magnum 54 Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Sunday 05 October, 2025
The H. Upmann felt like a really classic Cuban experience for me. Right from the start, there was that signature smoothness—cedar, light spice, and a creamy texture that made it very approachable. The draw was just right, offering a steady flow of aromatic smoke. Flavor-wise, it had a nice balance of wood, earth, and a touch of nuttiness. About halfway through, I noticed a floral note along with some sweetness that kept things interesting. The burn line wasn’t perfect, but it corrected itself without much effort. What stood out most was how refined it felt—everything was in harmony, with no harshness or bitterness. Compared to some of the stronger Nicaraguan smokes I’ve tried, this felt more subtle and elegant, though still full of character. By the final third, the flavors deepened, with more earth and spice, but it never lost its smoothness. This cigar gave me a real sense of Cuban tradition and why brands like H. Upmann are so respected. I’d definitely keep a few of these on hand for when I want something classic and dependable. Rating: 8/10
