Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Year Old Koi Perfecto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 23 May, 2023
Surprised by some of the low scores shown by other reviewers. Using a xikar double guillotine, the pigtail clipped neatly, but wrapper showed a slight brittleness. The tapered end took the light well and burned to full width evenly. Construction and draw were good and the burn even, with a mild to medium flavour developing well as the cigar burned.

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 May, 2023
This is a great cigar especially for the money. The size is perfect especially if your looking for a classy classic appearance. The flavour is fairly mild with no over all particular notes but very pleasant. I do have to say that the draw is quite light and airflow could be much better, this does slightly effects the experience but not a major annoyance, more of a personal opinion. The cigar smokes for around 45 minutes for to an hour which is lovely but the burn is a bit uneven. Overall this cigar is amazing and the drawbacks are minimal. I highly recommend.

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single

This was very much a cigar of two halves. The opening 10 minutes seemed fairly bland and whilst there was certainly nothing terrible about it, I was expecting more. The flavours were almost too mild to pick up on which was slightly disappointing. However as I moved passed half way the cigar definitely changed for the better. It remained mild but became smoother and better in every way. Flavours came through and it really improved as the minutes ticked by. The final few moments were excellent and I felt myself wanting to apologise to what was left of this cigar. You cant lose sight of the price and expectations need to be in keeping with what you pay. This isnt a bad buy at all if you like something mild. The burn was very even and the draw was spot on throughout. All in all it was a nice smoke at this price point.

Guantanamera Selection Light Cuban Sampler - 4 Cigars
Date Added: Tuesday 09 May, 2023
After the really helpful Review left by Daryl I thought it would be good to get a 2nd opinion The Longer Larger Cigar was beautiful - Just what you would expect from a quality Cuban Manufacturer as were the 2 smaller ones which appear in several Samplers The larger gauge small Cigar from that batch was dry and spongy - so unusual for CGars that I contacted them and their Customer Service knocked me backwards with how they solved the issue So thanks I really appreciate it

GBD Bombaso Cigar Case - up to 64 ring gauge - Tan
Date Added: Wednesday 26 April, 2023
Nice case for the price, it’s not super luxurious or flashy nor is it very firm to prevent misshapen or crushed cigars. That said for the price you are paying it’s good value for money and will do the job nicely. It’s about as bulky as an old school wallet and fits in your pocket as such.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Year Old Solara Double Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 07 April, 2023
I’m new to cigars but I do prefer the stronger more ‘complex’ ones, that being why I chose this one. The length and ring gauge is the the perfect size for a cigar imo, got a good 45 minutes out of it, any longer and I feel it would start to drag out a bit, again that may be because i’m new to cigars. First third was nice and tame, second third was my favourite part, the last third is when the strength ramps up a lot more. Overall, I really liked the cigar and it did burn evenly throughout up until the last third where it was only the filler that was burning and not the wrapper. Would love to try the 12 and 18 year one, and I do plan on buying some more of these again.
