Always liked the look of this one, along with it being drew estates and i tend to enjoy them whenever i smoke them! the wrote up and all the stats all fit in to my usual enjoyable smoke and i wasn't disappointed, beautiful taste notes of strong coffee and earthy tones, would 100% buy again i really did enjoy the experience of this one! the draw is a easy one, wasnt the most dense ash stack but also not a problem when it fell off the cigar stayed cool enough and didn't get too hot!
the only thing and i think it was my fault anyway, maybe 1'' from the end the wrapper came undone but it wasn't a problem i just held on and finished it before it became a problem

Davidoff Yamasa Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Caution. This is a strong cigar. Flavourful, intense, relentless but thoroughly enjoyable. Would definitely smoke again but not every week.

I don't know what went wrong but the burn was all over the place and I simply could not get on with it at all. Gave up! Unpleasant aromas too.

Gifted the Davidoff Yamasa Tubos Robusto and it has been one of the most impressive cigars I’ve smoked so far, and it completely changed my perception of what Davidoff is capable of. From the moment I picked it up, it felt bold and purposeful. On the cold draw, I noted dark earth, cocoa, and a touch of sweetness.
Once lit, the cigar opened with rich, deep flavors—black pepper, espresso, and mineral-heavy earthiness that immediately set it apart. The Yamasa wrapper brings a distinctive intensity, but it’s beautifully balanced by the Dominican filler. As the cigar progressed, layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and subtle sweetness emerged, creating a complex yet controlled experience.
The shape didn't change the flavour profile as I have previously tried the Piramedes, the construction remained flawless: razor-sharp burn, perfect draw, and thick, luxurious smoke. The strength built gradually but never became overwhelming.
