These are a personal favourite of mine - but I find it very difficult to justify the price! If that's not an issue for you, then I heartily recommend the cigar - completely consistent quality, and a light, almost delicate flavour. However if, like me, you have to watch your cigar budget, I'd suggest trying almost any of the tubed Private Stock range (I favour the No.2). As you would expect they are not quite the same standard, but they share many of the Davidoff characteristics at less than half the price!

Once again i have challenged you and you have come out victorious! Under description it says " I prefer these to montecristo no2" I said to myself "no shot!!!" So i bought one and when it arrived i smoked a monte 2 to refresh my memory of the iconic smoke, Then i went to a meeting and about my day for about 6 hours or so thinking to myself the whole time that there was no possible way the diplomaticos no2 could beat the monte 2. Then,, I lit the damn thing! Are you kidding me, Its like a monte number 2 but lighter and more complex, It had so much vanilla bean and cream flavor i wanted to put a straw in it!! I gotta say that this cigar made me feel like christmas morning! Definatlly my new favorite torpedo!!!!!!

I have to say, being fairly new to cigars and a Herf virgin, I was suprised to find a cigar that took my breath away. Thanks to Mitch and Vimal Shah of Burlington Bertie for confirming to me what a good smoke I had managed to get my hands on. A smooth cigar with a good draw, best enjoyed in the company of freinds

Strong but not overpowing, a pleasant smoke with plenty of flavour. Reliable draw as is the case with most cigars this shape. Well worth a try but not to early in the day!

An excellent mild torpedo - creamy sweet,fine burn, excellent draw and one of the most whitish ashes Ive seen in a relatively young cigar.Go for it.

One of the most underrated Havanas there is. With 2-3 years age these can hold their own against any smoke Ive ever had. Just a wonderful, smooth, relaxing flavor. Great for enjoying after lunch. Good burn and draw...the ash can last for inches. Never disappoints. Permanently in my top 5.
