Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)
Date Added: Sunday 14 August, 2016
This was the first drew estate cigar that I have smoked. I was a little apprehensive at first thinking they are a gimmicky brand. The cigar arrived with my very small order (taking advantage of the free delivery in the flash sale) and was one of two smokes I had ordered for something different for the weekend. Upon opening the package I was very pleasantly surprised, what a fantastic looking smoke! A smooth dark wrapper, with one pronounced vein running the length. The smell was fantastic, almost sweet to my nose. It was a firm cigar but nothing to put any worries in my head that it wouldn't draw well. It cut cleanly and lit well producing plumes of smoke on the first draw. The first third of this cigar I found quite bland, it didn't really give me any flavours of particular note, maybe an earthy woody flavour. The 2nd third was prodimently pepper and seeing as I love a peppery cigar I was really starting to enjoy it, it held its ash well, a lovely clean looking ash it was too. The 3rd third the taste turned to leather with a lingering of pepper, still drawing well and producing huge

Drew Estate Acid Atom Maduro Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)

I have smoked many of these, and although they are a bit sweet to start which I now quite like they, develop into a a complex and mature smoke. Bystanders are amazed by the aroma, and the butt smells amazing. They are by far the best cigars I have smoked in 20 years. I have filled my humidor with these for my everyday smoke. Good value for money.

Davidoff Aniversario Short Perfecto Cigar - 1 Single

I really enjoyed this cigar, it wasn't perfect in that in some parts it was a very tight draw but, but it was still a very satisfying smoke. Will definitely buy more.

Very smokey full cigar. I found it a little too "woody", but it lasts well, provides plenty of smoke, and gives a nice consistent draw. For less money though, you can pick up a Montecristo no4, and going head to head with the more well known Cubans it seems to fall short.

Dutch Label Senoritas Brazil Cigar - 1 Single

This is one of my favourite cheap/everyday cigars. When you first light it you get a lovely aroma and a teaser of the taste to come. There's not a ton of smoke with this stick but there's enough to satisfy that afternoon appetite. The second part of this stick is when the flavour really starts to come through. It's woody, toasty and fairly smooth. The final third is my favourite part of this one. The flavours really start to take off, and I found there wasn't so much of the peppery motif often found in cigars of this price range. Again, as I often say in my reviews, you must set your expectations in line with the price you pay. Although I'm fairly new to cigars I've already learned that you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a nice, cheap cigar, give this one a try. It's got a lot of flavour and it won't leave an uncomfortable tang on your tongue afterwards.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 16 June, 2016
This is a great little cigar (lasted 15-20 minutes), very well constructed with a draw on the somewhat looser side of the scale. Nice spices frame what is mostly a nutty or woody core of flavors, sometimes accompanied by a hint of anise or coffee. One to revisit, although there are lots of other Davidoffs to try.
