Cohiba Siglo I Cigar - 1 Single

Relatively new to the cigar world, wanted to smoke a few Cubans and New worlds before trying a Cohiba. To my surprise and joy my wife gifted me one along with a Partagas Lusitanias. What can I say, the moment I took the first draw I loved it! For the price you pay I have to say this blew my mind. Cant fault the taste at all. Only downside I would say is the draw was a little tight but the experience and flavour you get makes up for it. Definitely looking forward to stocking up the humidor with this. On to the Siglo ii.

Well what a joy. Bought a selection of 6 lower price cigars wich arrived this morning. Thought Id break one out to try with my coffee and being new to the world of cigars ive been floating around the budget lines from various online retailers. My 1st order from cgars didnt pan out well, the guantanamera minutos were a massive dissapointment, no taste, smoke or smell. This little beauty was a pleasure from start to finish, a light but flavoursome stick that burned well and evenly. The taste didnt become peppery until It was down to my fingers. A lovely quick smoke about 10-15 minutes, cant quite say what the aroma was but like I said I am new to this. My plan is to order 5-6 different cigars each month to find my go to but will order these again.

Personally I am not generally inclined to either the taste or strength of Mexican cigars, but this one was most certainly an exception. It was not one that I was pleased to find out as being the mystery cigar in the December subscription box, although it turned out to be a pleasant surprise in the end. Spicy with a hint of sweetness, smooth and creamy with no hint of bitterness, fairly strong yet not overly so, lots of aromatic smoke, a consistently even burn and an absolute joy from initial light to stub. Bravo to the person deciding to add it to the subscription box and helping to change my mind a little about Mexican cigars as a result.

Not a bad smoke at all.....Got better as it burned down and more flavor came through.
The draw was good and all in all it was an enjoyable smoke.

Chevron Short Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Poorly constructed. Nearly burst a lung trying to get a draw out of it. Didnt taste awful but I might have been high huffing butane through it trying to keep it lit. Got it as part of a quick smoke sampler, youd need to smoke it quick because it goes out more or less the second you stop smoking it.
