Having been a long time aficionado of some 23 years, I believe in giving a cigar credit where credit is due and that is most certainly the case with the Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios. It is a great sized, well built, flavourful, beautiful looking cigar.
From the very beginning it did not disappoint. It gave everything I expected of this Cohiba Maduro wrapper cigar: A perfect even burn from the start, packed with a broad spectrum of flavours; From the well known Cohiba creamy vanilla taste, through the spices, leather, cocoa, the well known eucalyptus of an aged cigar right through to ammonia.
This cigar gives you everything it has to the point youll allow it to burn your knuckles because you dont want it to end.
A reasonably strong cigar, displaying a mix of similarities to both the Behike and Cohiba Robusto Supremos, this is something I would highly recommend for the more experienced smoker that wants to try a higher end or Maduro cigar. Easily the smoothest and most relaxed cigar I’ve ever enjoyed.
This is a cigar to enjoy after dinner alone or as the sun goes down.
I smoked it late at night under the stars and couldn’t believe just how relaxing and soft it was.
Makes you wonder just what it must be like to hold those other more expensive cigars between your fingers!
Will definitely keep ordering.
Also, have to say the delivery was very fast and the packaging was excellent. Can not recommend enough.

I ordered these on Friday and they came on Monday with standard delivery, initial thoughts was the was smaller than expected but, they have a real nice taste and a decent amount of time to smoke, go really nicely with a whiskey, I will be ordering more in the future

First review on this site. I bought this gift set from another website, sorry guys but didnt realise you stocked any Cobs. This set is fantastic value for money in my opinion. If your new to pipe smoking and want to start then these two pipes are the way to go. I started pipe smoking with cobs and didnt think much of cobs until I received these. After the first bowl and the slight taste of corn disappears from these you will be surprised how well they smoke which if it was a blind test I wouldnt tell the difference. The straight apple shape feels wonderful to hold and will smoke sweetly after and its the same for the taller and larger capacity 5th Avenue bent stem pipe. I have bought 4 more MM Cobs and I love them as much as some of my briars. The presentation box is also good to keep your pipes for years of enjoyment. Buy one while you can. Thanks CGARS. Glenn

Tastes like you have a bad filling. Its like a Tennents branded cigar. Good size and held its shape but not a good smoke.
