Casa Turrent 1973 Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 March, 2026
This came as part of a monthly subscription pack. Impressive appearance with a very fancy band. I looked forward to smoking it. Unfortunately, it was rolled very tight with a difficult draw and kept going out. My trusty Perfecdraw failed with it because it wasn't plugged in just one or two places and as I kept going further in with it I was left with a channel right through to the burning end meaning that wisps of smoke were going out to atmosphere and I was drawing just air! Loath to throw away 2/3rds of it, I resorted to cutting it up, shredding it by hand and smoking it in a pipe. It ended up as a pleasant smoke, with a nice cigar flavour and aftertaste. I shall keep this solution in mind for the future if this happens again.

Charatan Original Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 March, 2026
This was only the third cigar i'd smoked in recent times, and even I find it mild to the point of being boring. I seemed to get through it quite quickly, probably because I wasn't getting much out of it. Not unpleasant, just more nothingness really.

Cohiba Wide Short Cigar - 1 Single

I'm still a beginner and this would be my first Cuban, but I can't honestly say I enjoyed this. It had quite a bit of bitterness for me, and quite a harsh tatse overall. But maybe that's because I don't have enough experience.

Conquistador Corona Larga Cigar - Bundle of 10
Date Added: Wednesday 11 March, 2026
I’m no connoisseur, but not new to smoking cigarettes and I’ve had a few cigars on special occasions. However this is my first time buying cigars and I’m pretty happy with my choice, they are really smooth to smoke and fit perfectly in my handmade cigar box.

Curivari Buenaventura BV Mini Cigar - Box of 20

My second review in as many days, I have become quite attached to these. At some £6, they are a third of the price of a Cuban Upman half corona, with, to me, no discernible difference in taste. Yes. Now a firm favourite and a more than able substitute for a Cuban at this size, if that is what you like to smoke. It gets top marks from me!

Chinchalero Perla Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 06 March, 2026
These are by far my favourite budget friendly cigars. They don’t come close to other brands in term of quality, flavour, smoke time, etc., but for £7 per single they are amazing. I personally like the woody flavour, snd the short format is nice for a quick smoke. The only reason I won’t give it a 5star review is that they do not burn evenly a lot of the time.
