Cohiba Siglo II Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 21 November, 2014
This was my first time smoking a Siglo 2 an i have to say i am impressed, both with the burn quality and the taste. They have a very easy draw and and a good even burn to them. Taste wise, to start it is rather leathery but towards the middle and end of the cigar the a really nice spice comes through. Considering I am usually quite a fast smoker, i felt the need to keep this cigar going for a while and it ended up lasting me around an hour. I brought a single to see what they were like and have since gone on to buy them in a larger number to keep in the humidor. Overall a fine evening smoke and perfect for after a good meal.

Charatan Original Corona Tubed Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Thursday 13 November, 2014
A personal favourite of mine and in my opinion, a real gem for the price. The cigar burns evenly with a beautiful white ash, tastes of subtle tones of chocolate, coffee and straw during the first two thirds, pleasantly meandering into hints of mint approaching the band. Not as complex as a Cuban at double the price perhaps, but a great smoke none the less for a discerning palate.

Chinchalero Picadillos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 07 November, 2014
Really enjoyed this milld petit robusto sized cigar. The flavour is light and smooth with notes of coffee and cream. This cigar is excellent value for money and its great as a mid week smoke. My first taste of the Chinchalero brand, I was impressed with the built quality and the cigar burnt down consistently without having to be re lit. Have already bought a few more of these as a regular 'everyday' smoke. A light, easy smoke.

Chinchalero Novillo Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single

This Cigar took a while to light but once it was lit it burned very well. The draw was very light and the flavours varied throughout. Overall, it had a slow burn and would highly recommend this cigar to anyone starting out.

I'm always amazed by non cubans - this is a brand I'd never heard of and wanted to give a go because of the large ring gauge. On lighting up, the cigar smelt really nice - no burnt or charred flavours on the first few puffs. I did take it very slowly though, drawing maybe every minute 1/2 to get things going. As previous reviewers found the first 1/3 to be very bitter, yet I didn't have the same experience. Lots of smoke, felt nice and earthy/full. About second half in, the creamy nuttyness came through - very smooth and delicious, didn't over puff which I think helps alot with cheaper cigars as they tend to be alittle rough imo. Still loads of smoke, very nice to hold in the mouth then slowly let out. The wrapper had a tiny flaw, wich caused small burn issue but mostly burned very evenly and didn't require many touch-ups. Continuing into the last - I love this cigar!! It really was a pretty thing to remove the band and continue smoking - normally I stop just before the band - not with this one. The nutty and smooth flavour is excellent, I could see myself ejoying these on a

Chinchalero Picadillos Cigar - 1 Single

Good smell out of the packet - rich and chocolatey. Held about an inch and a quarter of ash before it dropped. Kept threatening to go out, but that could have been down to a number of self-imposed reasons; I poked (in the absence of a cutter) and smoked it in rather windy conditions. Initially I was getting little more than a general cigar aroma/taste, with heavy pepper, but about half way through, an oily cream taste came through. The band slid off easily when the time was right. An enjoyable smoke.
