Cohiba Robustos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 21 May, 2020
So, had one last night. Now of the firm opinion that the Cohiba brand is being supplied and supposedly enjoyed on its reputation alone. I believe this is a scandal and the powers that be need to speedily rectify this, as there are still many out there who will happily smoke rubbish, as long as it has a black and yellow band. Trying to avoid the vast fake market is a headache in itself, but having the fear, that I have, that a thirty pound stick will probably not satisfy, has led me away from the brand I loved so much. Appearance, reasonable, thus pulling me in. Burn poor. Construction poor, draw difficult.Taste, nothing special. Was glad to finish it quickly, to get on to a partagas or Upmann. Actually, the same story last week with a Medio Siglo. Consistency in mediocrity. Avoid Cohibas, please.

Cohiba Siglo I Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 15 May, 2020
Brilliant cigar. Starts of with classic Cuban earthy, woody tones before developing to a subtle pepper and notes of mint. Slight kink in the first third which caused a tight draw but this evened out quickly. Not the cheapest smoke, but a very well made cigar.

CLE Asylum 13 Hercule Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 12 May, 2020
This was a pleasant enough cigar, though refused point blank to burn even. This has been the only gauge 70 cigar Ive had this side-burn issue on, though the draw was easy enough. The flavours were pleasing, though not exactly as impressive as I was hoping for given the price. All in all, a bit of a let down. I might give it another chance one day but for now I think Ill spend my money on other cigars.

Chinchalero Picadillo Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 10 May, 2020
The price tag might be on the cheaper end of the cigar world but that hasnt reflected cheap in the quality. Originally I ordered the Chinchalero Novillo Maduro Fuerte, but seemingly was unavailable and I was kindly substituted with TWO of these by C.Gars Ltd. Smooth and easy draw with a fair amount of flavour and lots of smoke. A nice even burn throughout with no need for a touch up with the lighter. Definitely considering reordering a few more of these.
