Brick House Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
Slightly heavier than a typical robusto, 54 rather than 50 ring gauge...actually feels significantly larger. Impeccable construction, really well packed but a surprisingly airy draw with a guillotine cut, decent smoke output. Starts very light-bodied and airy with just a hint of cedar and a nice sweetness, shifts to medium-full bodied and medium strength with huge amounts of cedar, roasted nut and spicy pepper whilst maintaining the initial sweetness. Finishes with dry cacao and leather. Decent, if slightly wonky burn, ashes every inch or so. Outstanding value for money, would age beautifully.

Backwoods Caribe Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Saturday 18 October, 2025
The Backwoods Caribe Cigars are quickly becoming a little favourite of mine. They’re easy to store, no humidor needed, and have that classic rustic Backwoods look and feel. The flavour’s tropical and sweet, with hints of rum and fruit that make them stand out from the rest of the range. They give off a lovely, pleasant aroma while smoking, the kind that makes everyone nearby comment on how good it smells. Smooth, easy going, and perfect for when you just want to unwind without any fuss. A great, affordable cigar that’s full of character, I’ll definitely keep these in my regular rotation.

Bolivar Tubos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 29 September, 2025
The Bolívar No.2 Tubos was a cigar I approached with a mix of excitement and caution, since the brand has a reputation for being fuller-bodied and more intense than some of the Cubans I’ve tried so far. Opening the tubo, I was greeted with that distinct Cuban aroma—earthy, woody, and a little sweet. The construction was excellent, with a solid feel and no soft spots. On the cold draw, I picked up subtle notes of hay and cedar, with just a hint of spice. Once lit, the cigar wasted no time in showing character. The first third delivered rich, earthy flavors, backed by a peppery spice that tingled on the tongue. It wasn’t overpowering, but it definitely had more bite than, say, a Romeo y Julieta No.2. The smoke was thick and aromatic, with hints of leather and roasted coffee coming through as it developed. The draw was smooth, and the burn stayed mostly even throughout, needing only a small correction near the middle. By the halfway point, the cigar settled into a satisfying balance of wood, cocoa, and spice, with a touch of sweetness keeping things interesting. Toward the final t

Backwoods Authentic (Light Brown) Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Saturday 27 September, 2025
The Backwoods Authentic (Light Brown) Cigars - Pack of 5 are a cracking little pack to keep on hand. Each cigar lasts me around 20 - 25 minutes, and they’ve got that trademark sweet, aromatic flavour that makes them stand out. They’re not something I’d smoke every day, but as an occasional treat they really hit the spot. For the price, they’re excellent value, and I always make sure I’ve got a pack in. They’re especially good for social nights, mates round for shooting some pool or gaming, and even the non smokers end up enjoying one. They’ve got that easy going, sweet taste that makes them approachable for just about anyone. A casual, fun cigar that’s well worth keeping stocked.

Brick House Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 September, 2025
This was a game of three thirds! The first third was smooth and full of flavour, but by the time it moved into the second, it became almost too tight to smoke. This really ate into my enjoyment of the cigar, as I has to try so hard to get a draw and keep it burning by puffing like a steam-engine, which heated the thing up and affected the taste. The blockage then burnt through and normal smoking was resumed, but the flavour had been marred by this point. I'd been looking forward to it as well. There's another one in my humidor, so time will tell if this was a one-off problem.
