Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 23 May, 2015
A lovely smoke it has to be said, this cigar looks and smells great before you even light it,the pre lit draw is woody with a slight bitterness and good mild tobacco flavours, upon first lighting the woody mild tobacco flavours are confirmed and also a slight black coffee flavour is present,it remains this way until about the half way point when the coffee disappears and a subtle peppery kick and a slight bitterness intermingle with the mild tobacco flavours, this increases in the last two inches and an earthy taste starts to overwhelm the other flavours. I disagree that this is a full bodied smoke mild/medium I'd say comparable to somewhere between a HdM and a romeo and I smoked it on an empty stomach with a cup of tea! But still very good

Angelo Black Plastic Cigar Cutter - 80 Ring Gauge

Good sturdy blade, will get through just about anything - used it the other day on the Alec Bradley Texas Lancero. Sharp blade, sturdy feel, good grip, thoroughly recommended. Only downside is that it doesn't have the same style-factor as a metal alternative, though I have always preferred factor over form!

Alsbo Ruby (Formerly Cherry) Pipe Tobacco 50g Pouch

One of my first aromatic tobaccos, I still recall the sweet scent of cherries when first opened, that warm fuzzy relaxing feeling you get when all cosied up by the fire after having a home baked "cherry crumble".......very nice :_)

Excellent cigar. Treated myself to this for my birthday, along with hefty serving of vintage port, and would recommend it. For me it seemed like a very smooth smoke, without a harsh edge that even other cigars that I have enjoyed had to a degree. Although this did seem to change into the last third, and I put it out pretty quick, but totally unconcerned by this as I'm fairly sure it had hit the 2hr mark by this point. Totally deserving of a score over 90, but taking into account the price it should hover near 100, if you're looking for a long smoke and are concerned with value I haven't found anything comparable.

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 05 March, 2015
I bought a trio of these beautiful cigars based on an article about the Arturo Fuente family that I read in a well known Cigar magazine and that a few well known Hollywood stars seemed to smoke them by choice, which is usually a good recommendation. I put them away for 5-6 months in my humidor and today was just right to give one an outing, beautiful sunshine, no wind and peace & quiet. Now I'm new to smoking, have never touched a cigarette in fact the only thing I've smoked before taking up this whole cigar business is Trout over a campfire! Wow, it was a beautiful smoke, wonderful construction, perfect draw and the burn from start to finish was as good as it gets! Flavours were really ideal for me at this stage, creamy and coffee with the slightest liquorice taste mixed in on the finish. It never got harsh or bitter, stayed lit despite a few 3 or 4 minute phone calls and kept its ash for an inch and a half at least every time! The description on the website is spot on, I will definitely be buying more. Hope this helps you to try one or more!!
