Alec Bradley Prensado Lost Art Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 15 November, 2018
I hesitate to give this a 4 star as the burn was absolutely terrible. But it’s my first one and I know Alec Bradley normally produce fine cigars. The flavours were quite earthy and leathery which I like. The first third had a heavy pepper finish which subsided before the second third. Very thick smoke output! Second third was more leather and earth with some subtle spices in there. Smooth and creamy comes to mind. A strange combo I know, but pleasant. The final third was much the same as the second with just some added pepper back on in the finish. Not better at any point which was a plus! I had this one with a black coffee which I highly recommend with this cigar. Complemented each other perfectly. It’s worth a try but I’d be reluctant to buy a box. It didn’t blow me away and if it wasn’t for the crazy burn situation it would be a solid 4 star. I’ll give the other one I bought a go and maybe review it again :) Smoke time was 45mins.

American Blends Ultimum Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Friday 09 November, 2018
This aromatic offers smoothness, sweetness and spice without the often bitter and hot effects associated with an aromatic tobacco. The sweet vanilla, cherry and chocolates remain present throughout the entire bowl. A lingering hint of honey remains after. And of course, a gorgeous room note. I enjoyed this through a MM Corncob without a filter. It burns very easily and is simple to handle. Sip slow and gentle to ensure a cool smoke and to the preserved flavour.

Alec Bradley Orchant Seleccion Skinny Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 05 November, 2018
Very strong, bitter and spicey to start. Mellows out as you get towards half way. Not the easiest draw. I bought this from the directors recommend section, to bulk out my order for free shipping. I think for the price, there are other cigars which are more to my taste, but Im still learning and sampling.

Alec Bradley Tempus Genesis Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 05 November, 2018
Mostly positive feelings about this one. First off it looks like a beautiful cigar. Beautiful banding and the construction, colour, texture and smell are all very alluring. Lovely dark brown wrapper rolled perfectly (no seams) as well as being nicely toothy. Taste wise, the first quarter was very bitter. I quite like some bitterness occasionally for a bit of kick but this was a bit overwhelming. However, this happens with nearly any brand of cigar and so its to be expected from time to time. After the first quarter the flavour mellowed out to some nice strong oaky notes with a bit of burnt toffee-like sweetness. The ash held very well and the burn was ok if a little off every now and again. It did go out twice which I wasnt pleased about but luckily this one is fine with being relit. In conclusion, I think the price is a bit high. Id put this in the same class as the Luis Martinez ashcroft corona in terms of quality. Well worth a shout!
