Adorini Habana Deluxe Cigar Humidor - 300 Cigar Capacity (AD048) by John

A bit disappointing really. First of all the service from cgars Ltd was as always up to its usual high standards and none of the points below reflect on them. I bought this as a treat to myself and an upgrade to the much smaller humidor I had been using. I was somewhat disappointed to have to bend both the hook in the lock mechanism to allow the door to be locked and the door stay arm which was rubbing on the side panel of the humidor itself. The bung in the back to allow an electric humidifier is slightly smaller than the hole that has been cut meaning thats its fairly loose. The hygrometer (allegedly precalibrated) never reads the same as the two digital hygrometers i have used (and calibrated myself). This would be less annoying if it were easy to adjust but adorini seem to think that a standard flat bladed screwdriver is not for them. Some of the dividers for the shelf have teeth cut into them in order to slot into the grooves of the shelf. Most of these are fine but a few had to be sanded down to fit. Spicy, white pepper. A good cigar commensurate with price. I am guessing they would benefit with 12 months ageing as does the Avo synchro. Not really my thing but surely worth a try.

Sadly my experience with this cigar was poor to say the least. Build quality was really poor, draw poor and it refused to stay lit at all. Wrapper started unravelling from the foot end whilst lighting. In the end I just gave up and binned it. Absolute waste of time and money. Really disappointed with this one. Worst cigar I have received from CGars as part of the subscription service. On a more positive note the Joya black was fantastic. And to be balanced the majority of cigars I have received are excellent. I suspect this particular one slipped through the quality control net.

Antonio Gimenez Panatela Cigar - 1 Single by Frank

Tried one of these from a local source, and i have to say how dissapointed i was, maybe it would have been a different cigar had i ordered it from CGars? However my review of it is as follows. Trying to light this was difficult as the wrapper just blackens instantly and fails to burn correctly resulting in constant relighting and a near impossibility to smoke unless you keep removing the unburnt wrapper which extinguishes the cherry through lack of air. Taste is ok, nothing to write home about, produces plenty of smoke but not in the right direction. Perhaps try one from CGars, it may be different, but i certainely will not be trying this one again.

Angelo Chateau Humidor - Cherry - 20 Cigar Capacity by Dylan

Excellent! This is my first purchase from this site and I am more than happy! I am only new into the cigar industry, and for a first humidor: simply outstanding! They even put fragile stickers on the package box at no expense! That shows that they really care about their customers and products! I currently have my humidor seasoning at the moment and so far so good! Also, another thing is that it comes with the humidification crystals, not the cheap foam, though I am pleased with that effort I was planning on getting Boveda packs anyway. Enough about that, here are some pros and cons: Pros: - The wood inside (IÂ’m not sure what type) smells really good. - Comes with lots of free stuff ;) - User Manuel for every item included - Lots more!
