A classic Highland scotch, no mistake! Very syrupy mouthfeel, honey sweetness, complex flavour with barley notes, oak spice and more honey to follow. Not overpoweringly sweet with hints of cloves and pepper on the finish!

Relatively new to the world of cigars so forgive me if this review is a bit basic. Cigar was well constructed and had a good draw, burn was a little uneven but sorted itself out by the end of the first third. Started out with quite peppery but mellowed into a smooth less peppery smoke quite mild, overall an enjoyable smoke!

Ardbeg 17 Year Old Vintage - 70cl 40%

This release in not unknown to true Ardbeg fans as it was around for 8 years, before being discontinued. Once you gently approach this dram, you will notice it doesn’t contain the big, bold classic Ardbeg smokiness. I can say the age mellowed down its character, not making it less complex though. Silky and oily mouthfeel, sweet peat, tar, cream soda notes and lots of vanilla on the palate. Unbelievably well balanced and gentle.
