Alec Bradley Texas Lancero Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 01 February, 2015
Alec Bradley cigars are my "go to" cigar when l'm looking for a guaranteed excellent herf and l was expecting the same from the lancero. I'm actually smoking it as l write this. The first half is high maintenance for a disappointing return. The second half has developed into the quality l was expecting with an easy draw and volumes of taste. I don't like to say this but they need to be recalled, resized and sold as a bombaso.

Angelo Chateau Humidor - Cherry - 20 Cigar Capacity
Date Added: Monday 26 January, 2015
I received my humidor today in a most timely fashion. Ordered on Friday, delivered on Monday. The seal seems to be pretty good and although I'm still waiting for the seasoning period to pass before I start to stock it up with sticks, I'm confident that it'll perform admirably. Minor gripe is that the adjustment screw in the back of the hygrometer bent slightly when I was calibrating it. I managed to get it sorted though, so no lasting problems! All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and the humidor looks great sat in my bookcase!

Adorini Pyramid Black Deluxe Cigar Humidor - 100 Cigar Capacity (AD040)
Date Added: Friday 19 December, 2014
This is a great humidor. although not to esthetical pleasing (my wife hates the way it takes up half the sideboard counter top in the living room) it maintains a constant 74% humidity ALWAYS! It is accurate and with its large humidifier only requires a top up every 4-5 weeks, so is very low maintenance. The dividers and labels provided are very handy for separating different brands, sizes and ages of cigar. The pyramid is not to my liking but the maintenance of the cigars inside is second to none.

Arturo Fuente Exquisitos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 November, 2014
I bought this cigar as I am rapidly approaching 40 and wanted to smoke a proper hand rolled cigar, I opened the wrapper and immediately the cigar smelt better than any other I have had. I toasted the cigar to light it and took a few tentative draws, the taste was spicy and sweet, a really nice smooth draw and I only had to re-light once. It has been a long time since I have smoked, but I have now ordered a starter pack of tubed Cubans and a pack of Monte Christo Puritos. I would buy this cigar again, and again.

Antonio Gimenez Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 21 September, 2014
I bought 2 of these to be sure of seeing if I liked them. I tried them within 5 days of receipt. They are fairly cheap and hopes were not high. I've sampled a good range of cigars over 30 years, but these are easily the least satisfying and most annoying. It is impossible to keep them alight. The burn is temporarily OK until ignition occurs through another nearer segment, (not the tip) leading to a 1 cm length of unburned wrapper and a total burn on the opposite side of the cylinder. Re-lighting is only feasible with a big taper or after trimming the end square. The flavour is fairly harsh, but not bad. For the price one is buying immense frustration with no redeeming features that I could discover. Both samples did exactly the same thing, The Fuente at a similar price were streets ahead.

Alec Bradley Texas Lancero Cigar - 1 Single

Surprisingly good for what I assumed was a novelty cigar, pleasant all the way through. Plus my Cuban crafters cutter did the job of getting a nice cut best part of my cigar was 3/4 in when I got hints of cocoa and coffee. I will definitely buy another from Cgars - (Facebook)
