This is my second review of this cigar. Everyone deserves a second chance, after all. Unfortunately, I can firmly say that my recent experience was worse than the first (also, to clarify, Ive had four of these, but have only reviewed two). From the outset, the draw was very, very tight. The first cigar Ive ever had where I could see, prior to lighting but after the cut, that the roll was so dense you could hardly see it it was almost solid tobacco with no way for any air to get through. The first few times Ive tried this cigar, Ive gradually trimmed until I was able to take a draw. This time, I cut into the first cap nothing the second cap some draw. However, the burn was so uneven I was constantly fixing it. I could distinctly feel the unevenness in the construction between my fingers: very tight on three quarters, very light on the other. Not until (eventually) the last third did it even out (and I was completely bored with it by then). It is very unfortunate though that the draw and construction are so bad, because I love the flavour . . . if it wasnt so much hard work to get to it. I think that the presentation of the dark green tube and the very nice wrapper sell this cigar. Its whats rolled within the wrapper that lets it down. This should be sold for 5, rather than 10+. To further verify this review, I did not buy the latest from Cgars, so it is not their fault or a fault with their storage its just not a consistently well manufactured cigar. Further, the only reason Ive bought four, over time, is because other reviewers liked it very much but mentioned bad consistency. Although I like the taste, I think Ive given it enough chances at redemption to firmly say Dont waste your money. Ive given it two stars for the taste alone. Everything else was a waste of what could have been a pleasant hour under the stars. Buy Padron or Hoyo de Moneterray instead. Sublime every time.

So this was my first cigar and that might be why I had an experience like this. First off it was very hard to draw on, I had to suck super hard to get any smoke, then where was the flavour...or rather a lack of. The taste was not to bad but definitely unpleasant and left a bit of a burning sensation on the tongue and the back of the throat. The construction was brilliant however and burn evenly the whole somke even with my bad lighting. So overall not a good first cigar experience witch is a disappointing especially considering that this cigar is recommended for beginners on this website.

Lovely smoke. Even burn and perfect draw, great flavour throughout and not overpowering. Would buy again without a doubt

What an absolute pearler of a smoke! I've had several machine made cigars in my time but never a real one before today. After a dismal first foray with another brand of cigar I had a break of an hour or so and a hearty meal before a second attempt with the Punch Petit Coronations Tubed Cigar. Without the requisite experience to properly qualify this cigar I'll simply say that it worked and worked well. A lovely aroma out of the tube and a satisfying, quality feel in the hand and mouth. It cut very cleanly in spite of my inexperience and while it took some time to light (newbie nerves) it lit evenly and well. The draw was easy and cool with plenty of smoke. With no real benchmark for the flavours produced I'll just say that it was interesting and pleasant, changing from light and easily overpowered by black IPA in the first half to richer and spicier in the second where it easily held it's own. White Zinfandel certainly worked as a catalyst in the first third but quickly lost it's edge as the flavour of the cigar developed. A great smoke, even for a newbie, definitely on my 'approved' list.

I found this Cigar to be very mild it had woody under tones at the start and near the end came over spicy. Has a easy draw and even burn and I got 50 minutes out of it don't rush my Cigars didn't burn hot overall a pleasant Cigar. Review Tiger Tony
