Welcome to our fabulous La Casa del Habano - Chester. Situated next door to our Turmeaus Tobacconist shop our La Casa can best be described as as paradise for the Havana cigar aficionado and connoisseur! We have just about every Havana cigar available in the UK in every type of presentation. A mouth-watering selection of singles, 3 packs, 5 packs, boxes of 10, boxes of 25 and cabinets of 50 and limited edition humidors.

We also offer exclusive LCDH Havana cigars and if you have a search through the huge walk in humidor you will find some very well matured cigars.

Our VIP area features whisky sampling room and a delightful range of single malt whisky and Cuban rum as well as client lockers of course.

Our cigar sampling lounge that has super comfortable leather sofas and armchairs with newspapers delivered daily, Bloomberg TV, complimentary espresso and soft drinks. Our humidor manager Calum is one of the few cigar specialist trained to 'Master of Cigars' level and is always delighted to advise as well as be your cigar sommelier.

Relax in our bar area where you can enjoy a dram of single malt whisky or Cuban rum from our extensive menu. We are licensed for spirits to be consumed and enjoyed on our premises.

Sara

Sara, the Retail Operations Manager for Turmeaus stores across the UK, joined with the C.Gars and Turmeaus Tobacconist at the end of 2014 and has very quickly become a fantastic addition to the team.

Sara lives to find the perfect pairing of alcohol and cigars but her tipple of choice has always been Champagne! Sara is loving trying the selection of New-World and Cuban cigars but lately Sara has enjoyed smoking the new Orchant Seleccion line of Oliva cigars, who could ask for a better introduction into the cigar world?

Calum

Calum - manager of Chester joined with the C.Gars and Turmeaus team back in 2009 and very quickly developed a passion for all things tobacco related but none more so than Cuban cigars.

In 2013 Calum became the first retail cigar specialist to pass the Masters of Cigars exam at importers Hunters & Frankau.

In March 2014, Calum went on a training trip to Cuba to further develop his Havana cigar knowledge.

Calum enjoys smoking Partagas Serie D No. 4, Cohiba Behike 52 and H. Upmann Majestic and finds plenty of time to enjoy them whilst playing poker.

Karen

Karen - assistant manager first joined the Turmeaus family in 2004 leaving in 2007 for pastures new, however Karen missed everyone so became a new member of staff once again in 2014.

Karen is a non smoker but makes up for this with her love of Whisky. Her favourite past times are her beautiful pet rabbits and going out with family for a good night out!

Karen is looking forward to trying the extensive range of whiskies to give customers the best information possible

I just wanted to comment on the service myself and friends received when we visited the shop last week on Saturday. We had heard about the shop and wanted to find out a little more about it. Calum met us and welcomed us into the store and spent quite some time explaining how it works and when the best time to visit would be. Given that we were a group of 3 walking in off the street close to closing time I wasn't expecting a great level of service however Calum, in my opinion, far exceeded my expectation. I believe as a result one of my associates has come in today with some of his family off the back of the service we received. I hope to visit in the not to distant future.

Hi Callum, I came into the shop a couple of days ago with my friend (we had the Montecristo and Ramon Allones). Just wanted to say thank you very much for your kind hospitality, we really enjoyed our afternoon. I have put a review on Trip Advisor as promised and it seems that your shop is top of the list - Well deserved.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful evening my Father and I had at Chester's "Le Casa del Habano" tasting and sampling evening. I have visited the shop on numerous occasions but this was the first sampling evening we have attended, and I am sure it will not be the last.

Please give my sincere thanks to Calum and Sara for their excellent service and knowledge throughout the evening.

This is the second time visiting the new store in Chester and what a stunning place it is. From the amazing selections of cigars and whiskey to the friendly staff, you really cant beat it! It is like home from home. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is visiting the beautiful city of Chester. Sara and Callum who work there really can't do enough to help you. Such wonderful people..

This place is Chester's biggest secret, I visited Chester and came across this.place. Wow.. I've not seen anything like.it in the uk. Amazing selection of tobacco, pipes and everything related. I loved the shaving equipment, genuine cut throat razors and retro safety razors, I had to have one. I also tried the Arlingtons shaving cream, love it! I was then shown round the new world cigar humidor, everything..... Peruvian, Dominican, Nicaraguan etc. Then the whisky room..speechless.. Single malts from all regions and Cuban rum. I bought a lovely set of miniature whiskies and they were great. The walls are covered in old pictures of Cuba, castro, che and legendary movie stars, this place is like a.museum aswell as a shop. The staff then took me through to ' la casa del habano' This left me speeches, a combination of ultra modern lounge but combining a big nod to the past. This place is a sight to see..old original beams leather chairs, stunning displays..etc. Calum the cigar manager, showed me the huge walk in humidor, packed with Cuban cigars..I was spoilt for choice..he recommended a Montecristo a number 4 I think! Then the best part, I was legally allowed to sit in the beautiful lounge and sample the cigar for half an hour. I was given a complimentary espresso..newspaper and totally chilled. This place is amazing and a definite choice if in Chester. My thanks to Calum and the manager Sara..You have a customer for life. Best regards, Jon

What a place. Now a La Casa Del Habano, it's stuffed from floor to ceiling with current production, rare and hard to find cigars. There's a fabulous sampling lounge (free coffee for patrons) a very cool 'underground' whisky bar and staff Calum and Sara are polite, friendly and attentive. Can't speak highly enough of this place.
