Each Japanese blended malt has been created from whisky from Nikka’s Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.
Founded in 1934 by Suntory's first master distiller, Nikka has risen to become Japan's second largest distiller, producing a wide range of single malts as well as their impressive blended whisky range and now this amazing Spice Rack!

Nikka Pure Malt Black:
Nose: Earthy and chocolatey with herbaceous notes and peat smoke, as well as sweet fruit.
Palate: A winning combo of delicious dark chocolate and luscious dark berry fruit, along with toffee and vanilla notes, bolstered by some well-defined peat.
Finish: Rich and strong, the smoke and spice lasting longest.
Nikka Pure Malt Red:
Nose: Clean, fruity and relatively nutty.
Palate: Fruit continues onto the palate, with hints of cut herbs, sugar and spice.
Finish: The overall finish is good and well balanced, and not a step wrong as it fades away gracefully on sweet, soft malt and fruit.
Nikka Pure Malt Black:
Nose: Earthy and chocolatey with herbaceous notes and peat smoke, as well as sweet fruit.
Palate: A winning combo of delicious dark chocolate and luscious dark berry fruit, along with toffee and vanilla notes, bolstered by some well-defined peat.
