Pouilly Fumé is a famous dry white wine from France's Loire Valley, produced exclusively from the Sauvignon Blanc variety.

These are wines that drink well from three to ten years and should be paired with strong seafood, especially with the addition of herbs in the preparation of the dish.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Golden yellow.

Nose: Bright and fresh aromas, white grapefruit, delicious honey and cream with a dry-yet-fruity medium body.

Finish: Crisp wheat grass and a herbal finish.

As you'd expect from this renowned area: flinty and dry with gooseberry fruit and a long, crisp finish.
