It is unique amongst Scotland's distilleries in that all parts of the production process, from traditional floor malting to bottling, are carried out in the one location.
This is the only distillery in Scotland to produce three different single malts - Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn.
Nose: There's a rich and meaty smoke, like beef jerky and Iberico ham followed by toffee, salted popcorn and honeydew melon.
Palate: Initially dark forest fruits and prunes, then a rich creaminess, amaretti biscuits and sweet dried coconut. This is balanced with fennel, pine needles and a delicate spiciness.
Finish: It's a delicious smooth finish with a citrus/orange tang, concluding on a luxurious velvet note with a touch of smoke.
