Glenburgie NAS Batch 2 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) - 50.1% 50cl

The second batch of single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenburgie distillery bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company has arrived with a release of 75 numbered bottes.

The label shows a giant searching the Glenburgie distillery for something, but what? Yummy whisky, or a hat to put on his equally massive noggin? Both, much to the distress of the distillery workers.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, single grains, bourbons and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.

Nose: Honeyed mandarin, pear and tomatoes on the vine, malty biscuits and strawberry jam also feature.

Palate: Fruity with apple and peach notes, some kiwi and more creamy biscuity barley.

Finish: The palate continues through to the finish with hints of tobacco leaf and marzipan.
