Length: 4"
Ring Gauge: 50
Flavour: Light to Medium
Packaging: Single cigar

The Flor de Cano Short Robustos is a remake (or close to a remake) of one of the most famous cigars in history that was released in the late 1980's, the Flor de Cano short Churchill. Every effort has been made to keep these cigars true to the original even down to the green 'hot stamp' on the packaging. The blend is as good as it's predecessor and the Short Robustos is one of the fastest selling cigars ever.

Tasting Notes

Fantastic blend, what a treat. Sweet medium flavours, light to medium strength.

I don't usually spend £27 on a single cigar but I thought I'd treat myself as it was my birthday. Quite a good cigar but I wouldn't label it as Great. Nice medium flavours right to the very end and a good draw. Unfortunately the construction was rather poor. The wrapper started to come away as soon as I lit it and the ash fell away a little too freely. I wouldn't rate it above a Petit Edmundo and certainly not above a Trinidad Vigia which had a far better construction. Overall a little disappointing. Expected rather more for my money.

Slight defect in the wrapper having a tear around the lower band, but open draw and plentiful smoke production. Great 20 min escape.

Great looking cigar, 40ish minute smoke. Very floral and herbaceous with perhaps a some leather in the background, also there were hints of white pepper in the last third. A medium cigar that's not harsh nor hot but with a full flavour. A decent cigar that is perhaps a bit too full flavoured for my current tastes ,hence my rating. (I prefer the Hoyo de Monterey).
