Nørding is a family owned pipe factory located just outside of Copenhagen in Denmark.

The famous annual series from Erik Nørding. The idea was to make a unique pipe where the shape and colour brought out the characteristics of a wild animal. Erik Nording asked Mr. Mogens Andersen, who is one of Denmark’s finest illustrators of wild game, to make a drawing of the ultimate hunting pipe.

Each pipe includes a drawing and a short explanation describing the animal selected for that year’s edition and is delivered in a beautiful tube.

The 2017 Hunting Pipe - For this year's hunting pipe Erik Nording has selected the "Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus)"

In the colder northern and eastern parts of Europe The Wood Pigeon is a migrant; Wood pigeon are one of the most challenging birds to shoot being one of our fastest flying quarry species, and one of Erik's favourite hunting during autum months. 

This pipe has been fitted with a white ring that characterises the Wood Pigeon's neck patch and finished with the fine detail that you expect to from Nording pipes.

For him as a passionate pipe-maker it’s always a special moment and a great pleasure to create such a unique piece of true craftsmanship.
