Description Ref # EN235

Nørding is a family owned pipe factory located just outside of Copenhagen in Denmark.
Their aim  is to produce truly beautiful pipes to give you that fantastic and unforgettable smoking experience over and over again.  They do this through Innovation, quality, and passion which is implemented in every working day to make a Nørding pipe your next choice.

The famous annual series from Erik Nørding. The idea was to make a unique pipe where the shape and colour brought out the characteristics of a wild animal. Erik Nording asked Mr. Mogens Andersen, who is one of Denmark’s finest illustrators of wild game, to make a drawing of the ultimate hunting pipe.

Each pipe includes a drawing and a short explanation describing the animal selected for that year’s edition and is delivered in a beautiful tube.

This year's hunting pipe is inspired by the Zebra. Plains Zebra are widely spread in the central eastern, and southern part of Africa. Usually they live in treeless grasslands and savanna woodlands.

Zebras are species of the horse family united by their distinctive black and white striped coats. Zebras are hunted for their meat and their distinctive skins. Hunting a Zebra in Africa is far more difficult than a hunter would expect. Zebras have fine tuned hearing, smelling and have exceptional eyesight. They are a herd animal which makes it very hard to approach unseen, and a shot should be taken as soon as one is presented.

For him as a passionate pipe-maker it’s always a special moment and a great pleasure to create such a unique piece of true craftsmanship.

Comes complete in an Erik Nørding pouch and Tube.

This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
