A fabulous smart looking Venezuelan rum, Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, distilled from molasses in a copper pot still before 12 years of ageing.

Rich, sweet and fruity, just how we like 'em. Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is one of the most awarded rums, with more than 20 awards to its name.

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva was shortlisted for the TWE Spirit of the Year 2013 award.

Nose: Big, complex and very characterful. Fruit cake, rum and raisin ice cream, cocoa and some spices feature as well as oak, vanilla and a deeper note of syrupy gingerbread, with hints of orange zest.

Palate: Rich and full, initially very chocolatey bursting with the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose. The texture is very generous, rounded by the oak.

Finish: Flakes of Terry's dark chocolate orange sprinkled over melted vanilla ice cream.
