Description

Cut Overproof Rum is powerfully smoky rum is made with a base of Jamaican rum and smoked using oak chips, this will stand out in cocktails and might make for an intriguing alternative postprandial tipples for people with a penchant for peaty whisky.

An amazingly smooth over proof edition of Cut Spiced Rum bottled at an eye-watering 75.5%, it has a depth of flavour that will stand up to any classic mixer.

Please note: Due to the high ABV of this rum, some of the sugars in the spirit can crystallise in the bottle.

Tasting Notes

Notes of freshly baked cakes, biscuits and that guilty-pleasure aroma of motor oil plays on the nose with a warming vanilla, cinnamon, cake and coconut flavour on the palate.

Very nice. Not too spiced that it becomes overwhelming but spiced enough that you can enjoy it either neat or mixed.

