There’s not many boutique brands that have had as big a “hype train” as Caldwell. They seem to have gone from a little-known brand, to one of the most talked about, in no time at all! Sometimes “fad cigars” can leave us a bit disappointed, but this one has some legitimacy. This brand will surprise and delight you and is certainly one that you should submit to the latest trend with. Unique and interesting blending meets quality and style. This is one hype train that won’t be derailed!

Robert Caldwell is the face of Caldwell Cigar Co. a company founded in 2014 that produces its core line of cigars at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. Caldwell entered the cigar industry in 2008, when he launched an concierge-like service that provides cigars and cigar accessories to high-end hotels and restaurants. Today, his portfolio boasts over 10 brands made in three different countries, and he’s known for his popular collaborative blending projects with other cigar makers.

This blend uses very small batch, rare, and all A grade tobaccos. The result is a rich, spicy, and complex cigar with a hint of sweetness to round it off. This cigar is full bodied and full flavour.

All tobaccos are aged between 3 and 4 years.

I havent been in the hobby long but out of the cigars I have tried so far this has to be my favourite. For a full bodied cigar to smoke so smooth with a slight pepper on the lips and long dark chocolate and slight hazelnut notes even after finishing it. It is a fantastic cigar and will definitely recommend it even to those who are just finding there palette.

Just had my first long live the king and after reading mixed reviews about it I was interested to see how it smoked. I found it to be a good cigar oily dark chocolate and earthy flavours great draw and smoke output would definitely buy again cigar at its best in the last third
