Alsbo Sungrown pipe tobacco is a balanced blend, which is characterised by  a super orange Black Cavendish.

The delightful black and wild cherry type flavour ensures an extremely pleasant taste and aroma which is truly 'remarkable'.

The Alsbo Sungrown Pipe Tobacco is a ready rubbed tobacco blend. Ready rubbed tobacco is made up of loose strands and is ready for immediate use in the pipe with no preparation for added convenience and enjoyment.

Tasting Notes

The Alsbo Sungrown is a Mild ready rubbed Pipe tobacco blend created using Bright and Orange Virginias, which have been blended with a super orange Black Cavendish.

The blend has then been top dressed with a creamy Vanilla essence to add to this already creamy pipe tobacco.


Overall the Alsbo blends are noted for their great value and the surprising lack of tongue bite and harshness.

First time for me with this alsbo blend It is a nice smoke but I don't really taste anything memorable,other reviews are saying it's smooth and vanilla taste is evident, I find the flavour quite weak however it is a good smoke and I will be using this blend again. Dave.


A very big vanilla hit from the get go which I loved, almost a butterscotch taste with a slight alcohol twinge in the back somewhere. The aroma is amazing, a very strong vanilla. It leaves the room smelling like a vanilla scented candle. This will always be one of my firm favourites.


Perhaps one of my personal favourites from the Alsbo aromatic flavoured tobacco blends. A perfect balanced taste of Vanilla with hints of Black Cavendish, mild yet smooth and provides a cool smoke. The tobacco has delightful scents and aromas, enjoyable to smoke and has pleasing room notes. It burns properly without any issues from my experience. A good choice for beginners to explore with different flavours as well as for the more experience smokers who enjoy smoking flavoured tobacco. I feel that the mild Vanilla flavours can be appreciated at any time of the day paired with or without a drink of your favourite beverage. I would highly recommend to all pipe smokers who want to experiment with aromatic flavoured tobacco. – Michael, C.Gars Ltd
