Independencia 1898 Half Corona Cigar - Box of 20
Date Added: Tuesday 16 April, 2024
I got into cigars few month ago , I really fall in love with specialty after I finish smoking cigarettes for 12 years 😬 I did try many many brands and being very honest , this cigar was the best , killed Hupman or Rome y Juliet , it?s very close to montecristo but is not that compressed , thinking of price and quality , draws size , feeling , this was the best cigar I have ever enjoyed , don?t underestimate cause of the price , apparently doesn?t make the diference here

This cigar is a good option for those looking something to smoke on a budget price. Well build, burns even and nicely, but a tight draw sometimes.

I bought a few of these as really enjoy their Robusto (once aged a year or more) and for the price a pleasant surprise , perfect for those days when it isn't pouring with rain and I can take a relaxing walk ,lasts a good 20 mins which is perfect for timing my walk with my oldest dog , will definitely be buying more

Nice creamy smoke. Burned well throughout with good construction. Rather bland for a new world, not many flavours. Was a ok stick, spicy in the last third. Won?t rush to buy another, however I?d smoke it again.

Not a favourite so far, Ive another to try as I bought two at he same time. Burn issues, feels tighter than it smokes, what wrapper is this? Keep correcting the burn, getting better as time goes by, little flavour but not unpleasant (kiss of death for a cigar?) Better taste on the lip into second third but only medium marks for that. At the price verses what you get size and time wise : Ok ; Ill try the other I bought but so far not in my favourites list maybe the 2nd will redeem itself. This example, a 3/5 for size over burn issues and lack of flavour. It all hangs on the second one I bought, second review to follow in a week or so.

Im sorry, but NO. Ive been working my way through the least expensive cigars on offer, in the size and gauge I like, for a daily smoke or three, (mixed with the more pricey for the better days when I have more time to enjoy them), so I could build up my humidor, but this is not one of them. Though, I might just have gotten a bad one, so Ill travel with care here, I could be wrong. The flavour was quite nice but way too tight, to the point of where when I tried the last third Id totally given up. By then my mouth was strained and hot, I would have given up sooner if I hadnt already decided I would be doing a review. Draw tightness aside, it had a quite reasonable flavour, but while I couldnt find a plug spot it was just too damned tight all the way through. Maybe a while in the humidor; maybe? Advice from others would be great here. I wont try one again until I worked through the range, theres a lot more to sample. Tomorrow I have the time so its a Hiram and Solomon, I just received a 3 sampler from CGars so the world is my...cigar/oyster? I would not say dont try one, I could hav
