Not much to hype when it comes to this cigar. From start to end, the taste was very plain, only a hint of spice which later became less pronounced. Even then the spice was almost non existent in the flavour. Could not taste any other flavours in this, probably why its at the price point it is. The only good thing about this cigar was the burn was even through out. Construction for this cigar was impressive. Would not recommend to anyone, spend a little more and get your money worth. The mitchell orchant cigars are far better when comparing cigars in this price range.

Sorry to rain on things, but NO. The first third was really disappointing. Cut, toasted and lit well but very little flavour, (and Im no wine taster but...) burn issues and a bit of canoeing , it wasnt until I had to re-cut it to wide open near the cap end that I got anything from it and near nothing on the re-hale. Id so love to have a happy review of a lower cost cigar, but this isnt going to be one. I quit smoking 7 or 8 years ago so what I save on ciggs I can spend on a good cigar a couple of a few times a week, much better for you, not coughing your lungs up every morning. Quickly, so I dont bore you, the last third was quite passable, the odd good flavour, but by then youve lost the high of trying a new smoke. Ive had cheaper that were better, thats why I keep a diary ( yeah, Im sad but want my moneys worth and cant afford to repeat old mistakes) Please, Im no connoisseur, but I know by now what I like, and dont like, even though everyones palate is different.. I cant tell you about hints of this or that, just whether Id buy again or not. The final third, after the re-cut was a lot better, but by then youve hit where I had to take the band off and the glue was under the band face and tore up the wrapper, bad quality control or just a mistake, dont know. The finish was not bad but , really, I smoke a 5.5 to enjoy the finish ? NO. May try again but not until Ive tried others. For tonight Ill go back to a Ghurkha Ghost for the walking of DogFace , or a Brick House Maduro that I havent tried yet. Its a try again but if its a repeat of this its off the list. Okay draw, lack of taste, bad build, burn issues and a muck up on the band glue leading to tearing, well see on the next try I guess but even if issues are addressed, theres no flavour. A 2/5. generous.

As someone who is new to cigars and doesnt have a big budget to spend, Im very much a review buyer, looking at what is getting highly rated in my price range, so seeing the reviews on these I decided to order one. Unfortunately after trying it I was very dissapointed, right from cutting it, it was very flaky, with the outside layer starting to peel, lighting it took some patience and multiple attempts then when it did light it was an uneven burn, with very bitty ash and a heavy draw!! Overall not a good looking cigar and not an enjoyable smoke. For someone new to cigars I would definitely recommend a Nicaraguan La Invicta or a Conquistador corona instead
