NICARAGUA TORO

Introducing Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed: a cigar which brings uncharted territories of taste, stirring the senses of those who discover them. The spice has been boosted with a fiery Esteli Ligero leaf that complements aged Jalapa, Ometepe and Condega tobaccos for a complex bitter sweet palate stimulation. A richer, sharper Nicaragua Oscuro wrapper then rolls the experience into a dynamic box pressed format to liberate enhanced flavours and aromas.

Tasting Notes

1/3:
The Davidoff Nicaragua begins with white, peppery notes, joined by typical Nicaraguan stimulation at the back of the palate. You will note the presence of spicy aromas with wooden and earthy flavours.

2/3:
The cigar starts changing, growing milder, alongside the appearance of an enjoyable sweetness. The aroma becomes milder and flavours of roasted coffee beans and dark, bitter chocolate make themselves known. The cigar develops a creaminess at the end of the second third.

3/3:
The cigar keeps building on the second third, delivering growing excitement and balance thus becoming the kind of smoking experience that only Davidoff can create. Time beautifully filled!

There are only 3 brands that I have never had a bad cigar from. Opus x by fuente, padron and davidoff. I have never had a bad taste, roll or burn from any of these. That is important. Consistency is very important when smoking in the uk as I cannot afford to spend £30 on a cigar that is either ridiculously tight or a wind tunnel. But flavour is the most important thing and davidoff just never let you down. They clearly have barn fulls of tobacco of every strength and flavour from every year. They clearly employ a master blender who is the best in the business. If I could afford to spend £60 a day on cigars I would smoke 2 davidoff stogies every day, but I cannot so I buy a box and tray myself one every week or so. This is a great blend and I would recommend it to anyone

Bold and smooth this is one of my favourite blends from davidoff. Of course it’s perfectly constructed as all of theirs are but stands out from their lighter blends because of the heavier flavor notes.
