ARTURO FUENTE

Arturo Fuente cigars are consistently rated among the best cigars in the world. Their reputation for unsurpassed quality, with both flavour and construction, has amassed a loyal following among cigar connoisseurs.

In 2012, the Fuente companies celebrated 100 years of hard work, dedication and family tradition. When the Fuente companies was established in 1912, Arturo Fuente would have never dreamed his passion for cigars would become a global benchmark for the cigar industry.

From the very beginning the focus of making a Fuente cigar was quality: quality tobacco, quality craftsmanship, and taking the time necessary to make a truly remarkable cigar. "We don't hurry thing; we just do things the way they are supposed to be done." says Carlos Fuente Sr.

MAGNUM

The Magnum Rosando line features an exclusive Rosando sun grown wrapper, culled from the lower leaves of fine Ecuadorian tobacco plants and aged for nearly a decade. It is these rare and delicate wrapper leaves that create this complex, balance smoke.

Very nice experience, draw was good, burn a little uneven and needed touching up but still produced a giant 3 inch ash, while also producing alot of creamy satisfying smoke, flavours were mild and subtle, and strength was also on the mild side.

A very pleasant afternoon smoke in the sun, with Arturo Fuentes MR No.52 as my companion. Let me start by saying that the pre-light aroma was a little boring, but dont let that put you off, as once I lit up, it was a different story. Construction was not as good as I have seen from A.Fuente, with a slight crack in the binder, and a looseness around the cap, but overall ok. Once alight, the draw was impeccable, with copious amounts of creamy smoke available with each puff. Underlying was a sweetness that lasted throughout the stick, with nuts cedar and leather, with a little cocoa. Flavours changed in proportion to each other from the first third to the last, but it wasnt overly complex. However, this was a perfect afternoon cigar, with a really even burn and an easy laid back feel to it. No input from me was needed at anytime to keep it burning straight and true and I really enjoyed this cigar. I would say its medium strength and whilst it doesnt have lots of subtle flavour nuances that some of the best do, this is a really nice smoke and easy to enjoy without thinking about it.
